Mr. Md Abdus Sobhan is Deputy General Manager of Bangladesh Krishi Bank. A career banker, he has over 20 years international financial services experiences including 15 years at Managerial & field level activities under the different capacity and positions as well as agricultural banking. Mr. Sobhan is responsible for the overall operations of the office of foreign remittance management department of Bangladesh Krishi Bank and he has built a distinguished track record of over 35 years across the Asia as a senior banker with extensive focus in retail banking rural banking microcredit, SME, business transformation, strategy formulation, treasury management, corporate governance and human capital development development.

Sobhan is driving the bank’s agriculture innovation agenda regionally as BKB moves to share the future of Agricultural banking to enhance customer experience and better engage customers in the modern agricultural landscape in the country.

He holds class Master’s degree in business Administration from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh. He is a fellow of the Institute of Bankers, Bangladesh. He is affiliated with more them a dozen of economical, financial and managerial organizations.
